When I began promoting 2008′s The Birth, I became familiar with another fellow whom I continued to see on the blogs (notably 2dopeboyz) named J.Cole. I became a fan of his music and eventually ran into him last summer. We talked and just like I knew who he was from the blogs and such, he knew me the same. I wrote a blog entry about the experience a few months ago. From the Blueprint 3 Tour to his sold out SOB’s show, Cole has maintained his humility and it’s very inspiring. When I heard, “Who Dat,” I thought the beat was ridiculously hot and that Cole killed it. It compelled me to spar with him, simple as that.

‘I’ve got too many sons in my town, have ‘em back‘. Sorry Cole, I had to. Enjoy all.
